Durability and safety are at the forefront of the Aquapod’s design. The bathtub liner is constructed from BPA-free, food grade LLDPE material, ensuring that your water remains uncontaminated and safe for consumption. Unlike storing water in an open tub, where soap residue, dust, and debris can quickly render it unusable. The sealed Aquapod liner protects your supply and helps keep water fresh for up to eight weeks, depending on environmental conditions.
Ease of use is another key advantage. The Aquapod Tub Filter Kit is designed for quick deployment, allowing you to set it up in just minutes without any tools. Simply place the liner in your bathtub, fill it with water from your tap, and connect the filtration system. When needed, the hand pump provides convenient access to filtered water on demand. This simplicity makes it an excellent option for both seasoned preppers and families new to emergency preparedness.
Compact and lightweight, the kit can be easily stored until needed, taking up minimal space in your home. Made in the USA with high-quality materials, it offers peace of mind through dependable construction and thoughtful engineering.
How to Know When to Change your Water Filter
Changing your filter will depend on how much water you use and how contaminated it is. Since the filter acts as a magnet, your filter will get clogged up over time. When it gets to the point of not being able to get water out of the filter, or the flow is not sufficient for your needs, it is time to change your filter. Even if there is only a trickle of water coming out, that water is still safe to drink.
