Quick Oats are packed with plant-based protein, calcium, thiamine, and iron and contain the most soluble fiber of any grain. Quick oats include the antioxidant avenanthramide, which clinical studies show helps protect against some cancers and heart disease. Oats also have anti-inflammatory properties.
The difference between quick oats and regular oats is the thickness of the rolling. Quick oats are rolled much thinner than old-fashioned oats and often appear as if they have been coarsely chopped. Rolled oats take between 10-15 minutes to prepare, while quick cooking oats only cook for 3-5 minutes. This also changes the texture of the oats once cooked. Quick oats have creamier finish than most rolled oats.

Prep Instructions:
To prepare as a breakfast cereal, measure 1/3 cup of quick oats to 2/3 cup of boiling water or milk and mix. Let stand for 2 minutes. Quick oats are also a staple ingredient in granola bars, cookies and muffins.
