This system is the UltraFlo™ 10” Universal Water Filter, a powerful and versatile filter capable of purifying up to 2,000 gallons per cartridge. With patented Nano Fiber Technology, a sophisticated filtration medium that works through electroadsorption rather than traditional mechanical barriers. In simple terms, the filter creates a positively charged field that attracts and binds contaminants as water passes through. This allows it to remove dangerous microorganisms and pollutants many other filters simply can’t catch.
One of the standout features of this filter is its universal design. Measuring approximately 9.75 inches in length and 2.75 inches in diameter, it fits most standard under‑sink water filter housings, making it ideal for homes, cottages, RVs, motorhomes, camper vans, boats, and more.
Rated to purify up to 2,000 gallons of water under normal conditions, this filter strikes a balance between performance and longevity. Heavy use or particularly dirty water may reduce total throughput, but even when flow slows, the outlet water remains safe to drink. The smart nano fiber media holds contaminants securely, meaning the filter keeps working right up until its last gallon.
How to Know When to Change your Water Filter
Changing your filter will depend on how much water you use and how contaminated it is. Since the filter acts as a magnet, as mentioned above, your filter will get clogged up over time. When it gets to the point of not being able to get water out of the filter, or the flow is not sufficient for your needs, it is time to change your filter. Even if there is only a trickle of water coming out, that water is still safe to drink.
If you are filtering fairly contaminated water, you may only get 1000-1500 gallons out of the filter. If your water is cleaner like city water, you may get more than 2000 gallons out of the filter.
